The Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments will hold a series of three interactive, public community workshops Jan. 29-31 in Charleston, Summerville, and North Charleston to kick off the next phase of the Lowcountry Rapid Transit project. These meetings will be an opportunity to receive an update on the project and weigh in on the vision for the system.
The format of the Community Workshops includes a presentation and interactive session; the workshops will start at 6 pm and each is planned to last two hours.
Those unable to attend in-person can access an online version of the workshops by visiting www.lowcountryrapidtransit.com beginning Tuesday, Jan. 29. The online meeting will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through Thursday, Feb. 28 for comment and input.
